Since inception in 1985, Scriptwriters/Houston has sponsored over 1,000 stage play productions and public readings.

Scriptwriters/Houston seeks to further the cause of and interest in professional scriptwriting and theatre through critiques, educational programs, workshops, seminars, and the production of our members' works.

Membership is open to playwrights of all levels of experience, as well as actors, directors, producers, and others with interest in and appreciation of Theatre.

Upcoming Events

Auditions for the TEN by TEN showcase will be held:

June 26, 2010

1:00 PM

Country Playhouse, Black Box

Auditioners should compare prepared with a memorized, 1-minute monologue. In addition to the monologue, auditioners will be asked to cold-read from the plays to be produced.

Auditions for the 2010 TEN by TEN will be held as closed auditions.

Auditioners are encouraged to bring headshots and theatrical resumes, but these are not required.
